Program Info

The core structure of the stage design is “The Dream of Taiwan.” Based on Taiwan’s unique signboard culture, the artist combined sign boards of different sizes and various shapes and a rainbow-colored peacock lamp as the soul, the resulting artwork presents the culture of streets and robust illegal structures, and symbolizes the strength of seeking survival. All together, the essential message is to conceptualize how hard the Taiwanese work on making their goals and dreams come true. The sign boards display a selection of important issues and ideas, such as the diversity of Taiwan, democracy, animal rights, that constitutes the image of the Dream of Taiwan.
